Honorable Nick Salat and Chief Administrative Secretary – Nadia Ahmed inspire us with powerful words of wisdom while encouraging all of us, especially leaders to invest in our mental health. AND wait! we have a very special surprise guest for you.

Founder of Jenga Africa Sheilla Akwara has a candid conversation with her mother, Dr. Priscilla Idele, Principal Advisor at the United Nations, New York – about Sheilla’s troubled childhood and suicidal attempts.

Sharing their mental health journeys are Ann Mwaura of capital FM, Lawrence Muli of facebook and David Maeri, founder of young visionaries.

We then dive into a candid conversation with Major Michael Kariuki founder of the Josiah Gathura Memorial Foundation- for a heart-to-heart conversation on his journey after losing his son to suicide.

Here to inspire us with some golden advice and gems are Mandisa Glover, who is a mother, private chef and daughter of the famous actor Danny Glover; artist Bensoul, photographer Emmanuel Jambo, William Nanjero general manager of sol Generation records and Chao Tolle from capital FM who is also founder of Bonga platform for mental health

This event was originally scheduled to be a private event only for schools, but we’ve decided to have the opening accessible to the public as this is a conversation that involves the society as a whole.
